Sexual Wellness & Trauma Recovery specialists

About Us

We help people experience great sex, break up with trauma, recover from addictions, and build nurturing relationships.

As a girl of thirteen, I knew both the abuser and the abused because I was both.

Maybe I wouldn’t have put a title to it back then because I didn’t know the name but I knew something was fundamentally wrong.

As an older teenager, I later identified some of the traumas I had experienced and saw how they multiplied in relationships with friends and leaders and quickly got disguised as culture, advises or blackmails to younger people.

Fear, shame and anxiety ravaged my person as I grew, but I was lucky to have stumbled on healing because I wouldn’t live like that; afraid to dress up before someone else tries to abuse me, act stupid so no one picks on me, fear people who could love me.

Like you, I wanted my life back – a life I wasn’t sure I knew if it stood in front me. But I tried. Without funds to see a therapist, I started journaling and began to take the little opportunities that offered themselves.

One time, it was a doctor of psychology who claimed he could help me heal from my sexual fears if I let him touch me without penetrating my vagina.

I know what it means to fight for yourself and that’s why you are the hero of every session. Ten years of focusing on my healing and my life feels light years ahead from the terrified, attention seeking, attention denying, angry, vengeful girl I used to be.

Here at Liza Express Wellness, my team and I never turn down someone who is willing to heal – there is always something designed for every level. Are you willing? Then, let us be your guide.

What we do & why we do it

Our Story & Aspiration

For eight years, we have welcomed individuals who have been deeply wounded by those they once loved. Some arrived so misinformed about sex that what should have been a source of joy became a topic of dread, even within the safety of their loving relationships.

Others found themselves ensnared in toxic relationships, drawn in by the allure of good sex, yet unable to discern the fine line between craving pleasure and being addicted. These challenges were further complicated by the relentless demands of life—balancing a full-time job, parenting, nurturing relationships, and fulfilling their duties as citizens.

It is easy to underestimate the importance of sexual wellness, until the repercussions become painfully clear—until unmet needs drive people towards self-sabotage.

In 2021, we conducted a virtual anonymous survey that revealed stark truths: 50% of respondents aged 22 to 35 shared that their parents never discussed sex with them, and 54.17% had been abused in some form—whether verbally, sexually, or physically.

Our role is to support you in making informed decisions about your recovery, while honouring your innate desire for sexual pleasure. By aiding your healing journey, we play a part in creating a society with fewer individuals perpetuating cycles of harm.
