This contract outlines the terms of your relationship with Liza Express Wellness, both legally and therapeutically.

Session Timing

    If a client is late for a session, the first 15 minutes of lateness will be considered part of the session. If the client has not arrived within 30 minutes of the session start time, the session will be canceled. The client can choose to reschedule the session and will be required to pay an additional fee to access the remaining time from the previous session. Fees can be found in the rate card provided by our support team.

    Transfers and Cancellations

      If a client wishes to change the goal of their session after full payment has been made, Liza Express Wellness will facilitate a transfer to a different therapist who specializes in the new goal area, at no additional cost to the client. However, this therapist must be chosen from the list of available therapists provided by Liza Express Wellness. If the client refuses all provided therapist options after changing their session goal, no refunds will be issued. In exceptional circumstances outside the client’s control, Liza Express Wellness will refund 50% of the remaining sessions. For example, if a client has completed two out of four sessions, we will refund one session’s cost. This is because the initial payment covers the time that was originally scheduled, even if not fully utilized.

      Change of Service

        If a client decides to change their service, such as increasing the session duration (e.g., from 60 minutes to 90 minutes or 90 minutes to 2 hours), they will need to pay an additional amount according to the rate card provided by the support team. Should a client wish to increase the number of sessions originally booked, they must return to the booking page and schedule additional sessions as a new booking. This means that any subsequent bookings will be subject to the current prices listed on the website at the time of booking.

        Change of Goals

          Clients are expected to specify their therapy goals when booking. While it is understood that clients may not be able to articulate these goals fully at the beginning of their sessions, after the second session, the client and therapist should agree on the goals for intensive counselling. If a client wishes to add more goals during their therapy, additional time will be required to adequately address these new goals. If the client is unable to extend the session time (considered an extension of service), the therapist will focus on the initial goals as originally specified. Subsequent goals can be addressed during follow-up sessions, as agreed upon by both the therapist and the client.

          Follow-Up Sessions

            Follow-up sessions are counselling sessions booked only after the completion of intensive counselling sessions, as recommended by the therapist. Follow-up sessions cannot be booked as standalone consultations and are available only to registered clients who have completed intensive one-to-one sessions. Unlike intensive sessions, follow-up sessions are not scheduled weekly but can be bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly. These sessions allow the therapist to monitor the client’s progress. If a client does not attend a follow-up session within three months after completing their intensive sessions, any relapses experienced cannot be attributed to the effectiveness of the initial intensive therapy, as the client did not commit to the follow-up process. Follow-up sessions are not a luxury but are essential to ensure the client continues to progress and avoid self-sabotage.

            Privacy and Confidentiality

              As a wellness brand, our goal is to help you achieve your goals, which means confidentiality and anonymity are crucial to our brand. Information from your counselling sessions is not recorded (aurally or visually) or stored on any cloud server to ensure your privacy and protect against tampering. However, text-format documentation is done by the therapist, counsellor, or coach to help track your progress. This information is available to you after every batch of four sessions, spanning across four weeks. This information is kept and retrievable for up to two years, during which it is assumed you have follow-up sessions. After this period, the information is no longer retained. If you return for a session after two years, it will be treated as a new therapy intensive rather than a follow-up session. However, this information remains legally retrievable within the first 10 years, including the two years during which sessions lasted, only in cases where the client’s life is at stake in a legal situation.

              Dual Relationship

                To maintain the anonymity of our clients, Liza Express Wellness does not follow clients on social media. Our job is not to enhance your social media profile but to ensure you receive healing and maintain confidentiality. This also includes not publicly acknowledging that you are our client. We recognize that extensive sessions can create a comfortable environment where the client may feel a friendship with their therapist. However, to maintain professionalism, if either the therapist or the client finds it challenging to focus and stay professional, the Liza Express Wellness support team will transfer the client to another therapist within our network. Our primary goal is to help you achieve healing, not just build a community.

                By booking a session at the Liza Express Wellness, you agree to the terms outlined above and acknowledge your understanding of your rights and responsibilities as a client of Liza Express Wellness.
